Our Mission Statement:
The Dakota Organization is dedicated to quality live
performing arts with an emphasis on theater. The
mission of The Dakota Organization is to create
opportunities for community participation in enriching
theatrical experiences. Our focus is on inclusion and
quality, giving the public a well-balanced theatrical
season, and striving to meet all of the demands
placed on community theater. The Dakota
Organization will accomplish its mission by producing
a broad range of theatrical productions of the highest
possible artistic quality each year, increasing the
theater’s impact on and service to the community.

About Us
The Dakota Organization is a theatrical organization based in Minden,
Nevada and was founded in late 2005. We are a 501C3 non-profit
organization. Part of our charter is to support other organizations, such
as The Alzheimer's Association. A portion of our proceeds is donated
directly to support their efforts in battling Alzheimer's disease. In
addition to our own productions, we are committed to supporting
theater groups in our area through volunteering efforts and material
and equipment sharing. As of September 2008, we have produced 5
plays and one community talent/variety show.
